Greetings and Salutations! Our festival has arrived this Saturday, September 27th. We just received our Polish beer and it’s chilling for next weekend! The festival begins at 3:00 pm and ends at 11:00 pm. Our Polish band begins at 4 pm until 730pm. Next up is Disco Express from 8 pm until closing. Come dance the evening to your favorite Polish polkas and Disco hits. This is our once a year fundraiser and social. We will need help on Friday from 3-5pm, then at 6 pm to set up tables, chairs, baskets etc. There is a lot of work that goes into this event and when everyone pitches in, it goes quickly. Likewise, we will need help immediately following the festival to tear down the tables, chairs, toss garbage etc. Your help is needed and much appreciated. Thank you in advance. Second, is our annual parish picnic on Sunday October 5 th immediately following the 11:30 am Mass. It will take place behind the rectory in the parking lot by the priest’s garages. If the weather is inclement, we will take the event inside the gymnasium and lower school hall. There is no cost to any parishioner for the picnic. It is our gift to you. However, You MUST call the rectory and give us your count. You may start calling this Monday. It is imperative we have an accurate count due to the caterer charging us per person based upon the count we furnish several days before the event. So, if you say yes and don’t show, we must eat the cost of your reservation. So PLEASE think long and hard before you agree as we will be expecting you. I trust you understand. You also may have noticed we have refurbished the church doors on both side entrances and will be obtaining a quote to re-do the front entrance doors as well.
