Pastor’s Thoughts

Oct 24, 2024

This Friday, November 1st, is the feast of All Saints. It IS a holy day of obligation. Catholics are required to attend Mass to celebrate and to honor all the church’s saints and martyrs (known and unknown). I like to think of All Saints as the Church’s Hall of Fame so to speak. A day we acknowledge their courageous example to the faith and have helped us as a community to who we are today. Holtkamp Organ is in the process of replacing the water damage pipes and wind chests. Our organ should be fully functional and complete in several weeks. Please be careful in the back vestibule of church not to trip or fall. We will use ‘CAUTION’ tape around those areas where they are storing organ pipes. Finally thank you again to all who helped make our Polish parish festival a success. We profited $12,072.66. Excellent for a day’s work! Last year profits were $11,820.00. The difference was a gain of $251.00 this year over last year. My prayers go out to everyone who helped, assisted, and planned this event. A special thanks to parishioners Sophie and Chris Zebrowski owners of ‘Sophie’s Perogies’ who donated the entire cost of the perogies to our parish. Thank you! Fr. Roach
