Fr. Andrew Knapik will be moving back to Poland during his retirement early in January/February.
We want to thank father for all his assistance to St. John Cantius Church over the years.
To try and find another Polish speaking priest to take Fr. Andrew’s position for our 9:30 am Mass every Sunday has been a challenge.
I was successful in securing Fr. Andrzej Panek from Immaculate Heart of Mary Church who is willing to weekly offer Mass in Polish for the parishioners of St. John Cantius beginning January 7th at 8:30 am.
There is a conflicting schedule and so to accommodate Fr. Andrzej’s schedule at Immaculate Heart, we will be moving our Sunday Polish Mass FROM 9:30 am TO 8:30 am every Sunday beginning January 7th, the feast of the Epiphany.
We would like to say goodbye to Fr. Andrew on Sunday January 7th AFTER the 8:30 am Mass in the lower school hall – about 9:30 am. Please mark you calendars as we say goodbye and God Bless to a wonderful priest.
